Dine at Hardy's Verandah Restaurant

pre-dinner drinks

The bar is named after another of the property’s well known custodians, Arthur Waterhouse, son of mining magnate, philanthropist and property developer Thomas Waterhouse. In the original sitting room, a picture window was built in to frame the view down the beautiful Piccadilly Valley. 165 years later we invite you to enjoy the same view from the reimagined as Arthur Waterhouse Bar. The original open fireplace and one of the largest whiskey selections in Adelaide make this a fantastic place to enjoy a drink before or after dinner.

memorable experiences

As the original destination for high society in Adelaide it makes sense that we now have some of state’s most unique venues. Enquire about the historic cellars, the Hardy’s original dining room, or alternately one of our verandah rooms complete with open fire and outlook over the valley. Venues accommodate groups between 10-30 people.
